Ive whittled my mattress hunting down to those two choices, neither are hybrids. Do you really think the Tempur-pedic is worth the extra 800+ dollars for the queen? Seems like such an exorbitant amount of money. I laid on both of them my local mattress firm and they felt so similar.
The salesperson said the tempur will hold up better over time, but I can’t really trust what they say since they work on commission.

Nectar vs tempur is like go-kart vs car. Even the most basic tempur is worlds above the best nectar. I no longer have nectar on my sales floor because frankly, they suck.

if you go on Tempur-pedic’s website, the reviews for the medium pro adapt are pretty horrible. Many people say that they soften very quickly. I don’t know, I just bought the pro adapt soft it got actually very good reviews on there but I like a softer mattress. I also use an adjustable frame, which really helps with a low back issue. Good luck. It is one of their top selling beds, so I guess the number of negative reviews are low in relation to how many beds they actually sell. More on reddit.com

Tempur Pedics are set price items meaning there going to be the same price everywhere like apple products. If you find a cheap Tempur Pedic that’s not the correct price it’s either a floor model, old model, or a knock off. I would only buy Tempur Pedic from an actual retail seller. Tempur are the best quality mattress but they are pricey. More on reddit.com
