For job opportunities, TX is a far more business friendly state than FL so very possibly more jobs. For family connections. For cheaper housing. (in general) Some people prefer TX because they think Texans are more “friendly” than people in FL. More “sense of community”. Not my thoughts but just a bit observation.

Hello Everyone! I need help deciding between Florida and Texas. I feel like both are appealing states to me both being red and having no state income tax. But I still cannot decide between them. I do aspire to travel around the globe and I hear Texas has one of the largest networks available so I am leaning towards Texas. Cost of living is also a huge factor to. I will most likely be renting an apartment. I know cost of living has gone up in both states too. But I am still stuck can you guys help me decide. Thank you!

I am currently living in FL, and planning to move to TX next month. Cost of living is relatively cheaper in TX especially if you pick a smaller town. FL is expensive, overcrowded and the companies aren’t willing to pay much, at least in my field. Hope this helps
