Comptroller.Texas.Gov is the website for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts

All Texas sales taxpayers now access WebFile via the new MyCPA (My Comptroller of Public Accounts) system.

Those changes don’t have to be big to be helpful. We’ve recently made some small updates to Webfile to make it faster and more convenient to find what you need. You’ll notice several changes right away, starting with the eSystems login screen.

Enter your taxpayer ID and Webfile numbers to gain access to different reports.

WebFile E-Check or Credit Card payment: This option requires you to create a profile to login to our WebFile system. With WebFile, you can file payment only transactions early and post-date the electronic check payments by changing the payment effective date.

Be sure to log out of Webfile after each session to prevent browser issues caused by logging in as a different user, or when accessing a different account. If you are experiencing these types of login errors, you can resolve them by clearing your browser cache.

March 10, 2025 - 1) WebFile (https://comptroller.texas.gov/taxes/file-pay/) Login to the WebFile for Texas Comptroller. If you do not have a login, you will need to create one with your Franchise Tax Number.

To begin, go to WebFiles, and log in with your NetID and Password.

September 4, 2024 - If you’re a Texas business owner, you’ll need to know your Webfile Numbers in order to file your business tax returns. Your Texas Webfile Number is a six-digit number starting with FQ, RT, or XT and is your personalized access code to the Texas Comptroller’s electronic reporting system.
