Maybe not for anyone else, but if I tried dictating a book, a different part of my brain would be "writing" the book...not the same part of my brain used when I'm typing. My writing style and even the content would be different. Probably a lot different. Same as if I were to write longhand, it would come out very different from when I type. Crazy, I know.
