So i tried 2 generations where i told the generator to do a specific video and it would do a single image in a video format. Is this the results that many of you guys are experiencing or it just me?
So Canva’s quietly added this wild new feature where you just write a sentence… and it gives you a full video with motion, music, and even voice.
I typed:
“A girl walking through a futuristic market, camera following her, sci-fi music in the background”
That’s all I did.
And it gave me a proper 15-second video with cinematic shots and background audio — in less than 2 minutes. No timeline. No editing. Just typed and boom.
Here’s the full breakdown + real screenshots from my test:
👉 This is what it made
Honestly, I didn’t expect it to be this smooth. The interface is super clean — it feels like you’re directing a scene just by describing it.
But yeah, not everything’s perfect. You only get 5 video generations a month (I used the Pro trial), and the videos are short — just 15 seconds. The voice is a bit robotic too, and it did take a while to load once.
Still… the fact that this is inside Canva of all places? Kinda game-changing.
Would love to know if anyone else here has played with it. Or thinking of using it for Reels or ads?
