I was looking for the same thing. Wanted something affordable that would not block my inputs. Montra is not unlimited, but it gives stable results with the Veo 3 camera system. The workflow feels like directing a video instead of testing random prompts. Answer from Uchihamadaralord on reddit.com

r/AI_Agents on Reddit: Best bang for your buck for unlimited AI text-to-video generators?
September 26, 2025 -

So I had briefly found a free text to video generator that didn’t use credits or require an account and could do unlimited (even multiple tabs), before it disappeared like a month ago.

I don’t really care so much about quality (at least to a point), but wondering the best bang for your buck for unlimited generations. Like I saw Envato is offering it for I think $16.50 a month IF you sign up for a year (and like $35 for month to month) but I never heard of them and there are so many options nowadays. If it uses Veo3 or similar that’s amazing but fine with less sophisticated options as long as it looks somewhat realistic and understands prompts ok. I just kind of got addicted to the slot machine effect of seeing if it gets my prompts I guess, and more fun when it’s less restrictive of my inputs.

In your opinion, what’s the best budget-friendly way, or budget-friendly app or site deal, to focus on maximizing quantity instead of quality? Preferably for short term since I might step away again if I start to get carried away. Thanks!

Anyone know a solid text-to-video tool that doesn’t charge you for every single generation—only to hit you with another paywall when you try to make edits?

May 26, 2025 -

Hi community! I'm looking for recommendations on AI tools that are 100% free or offer daily/weekly credits to generate videos from text or images. I'm interested in knowing:

What are the best free AIs for creating text-to-video or image-to-video? Have you tried any that are completely free and unlimited? Do you know of any tools that offer daily credits or a decent number of credits to try them out at no cost? If you have personal experience with any, how well did they work (quality, ease of use, limitations, etc.)? I'm looking for updated options for 2025, whether for creative projects, social media, or simply experimenting. Any recommendations, links, or advice are welcome! Thanks in advance for your responses.

I want to generate videos by giving prompts to ai, something like that one video of the presidents eating spaghetti. Not random clips of stock footage, but full on ai generated video.

Free sites please, I am broke

While there aren't many purely free options dedicated to AI video generation from text prompts (it's resource-intensive!), here are some resources to get you started, along with alternative strategies: Sites with Free Options or Trials: Kapwing: ( https://www.kapwing.com/ai-video-generator ) A versatile online video editor that includes a basic AI video generator. Free plans have limits on file sizes and output length. D-ID: ( https://www.d-id.com/creative-reality-studio/ ) Well known for its talking-head avatars, D-ID has a feature to generate simple background videos, though it’s more focused on the avatar than complex scenes. RunwayML: ( https://runwayml.com/ ) Primarily an AI image editing platform, it offers some limited video generation features. Could be used for simpler, abstract clips. Paid AI Video Generators Often Have Trials: Synthesia: ( https://www.synthesia.io/ ) Lumen5: ( https://lumen5.com/ ) Pictory: ( https://www.pictory.ai/ ) Strategies to Maximize Free Tiers: Keep It Short: Free trials limit video length, so focus on creating impactful 15-30 second clips. Script Planning: Have your short text idea for the video ready to go before starting your free trial. This cuts down on wasted time experimenting. Alternative Approaches (Non-AI Based, but Still Great) Stock Footage + Templates: Sites like Pexels, Pixabay, and Videvo offer free footage. Edit them together using an online video editor with existing templates to match your text idea. Screen Capture + Voiceover: If your "video" can be you showing slides or a website, free screen recorders, plus a microphone and presentation software, can do the trick. Things to Consider "True" AI Generation is limited: Even paid services won't generate high-quality, long-form content from just a paragraph of text. They're best for specific scenarios. Your Editing Skills Matter: These AI tools give a jumping-off point. Make sure you're comfortable with tweaking the output in a video editor.

There's too many paid ai video generators to count, but are there any free ones with no strings attached to it. I dont think i could run it locally unless its easy on resources. I cant even run the latest ai models im still stuck in sd 1.5.

What I am looking for is a tool to make short clips of dramatic, but somewhat realistic looking fantasy art. I have some sort of short story ideas in my head that I would like to turn into youtube videos, and just want to create some visualizations for them. The animation doesn't have to be super intense, but a bit of camera movement and character movement would be nice.

It should be somewhat beginner friendly. I spent years video editing with Premier and Davinci Resolve, and even more time with Photoshop, so I am not completely green to this type of thing.

But I don't have a ton of time to learn a super complicated software, so something that I can get up and running with relatively quickly, and bring short story boards to life would be nice.

Any recommendations that are relatively inexpensive / good quality?

Thanks so much!

June 7, 2024 - Try Haiper.ai. It's free and easily one of the better options as far as text to video stuff goes. A lot of stuff just deforms your image and makes it flicker, haiper makes video where objects try to move like they have physics.

What would be the best free AI (preferably Android app) to create and automated videos for YouTube/Tiktok?

I've tried a few apps, but some of them leave a watermark, or can't insert images or once you make the video, you have to pay to receive it.

What are your suggestions?

Hey everyone, I've been seeing so many wild AI-generated videos like ads, game highlights, even travel vlogs and it’s got me really curious to try it out myself. The problem is, most of the tools I’ve come across either slap heavy watermarks on the videos or make you buy credits almost immediately.

Is there any free site that actually lets you create full videos from prompts without hitting a paywall right away? I’ve seen Affogato AI mentioned a bunch on Twitter but haven’t tried it yet. Has anyone here used it or know any other decent free options?

I’d really like to mess around with this stuff before deciding if I want to commit to a paid plan.

Hey!

I’m wanting AI generated video based on a transcript. Is there a service that would allow me to upload an instructional transcript and then generate YouTube shorts?

Please only recommend serviced you’ve tried. I tried a few today but they’re very basic. The few I tried only require a small bit of text and then they try to generate the transcript and create a ‘novel’ video. I want the video generation to be based off of the text i provide and then my transcript will also be the CCs.

IE If I’m creating a ‘How to create a Prompt’ video, the visuals and CC will be based and follow my transcript.

Thank you!

Hi all,

This isn’t so much for me, as it is for a friend of mine who’s working on some AI projects.

First - does anyone have any positive experiences with KlingAI? Would they recommend it? Paid version vs free version?

Second - any recommendations for video generators for AI images created in SD in general? Specifically looking to do portrait mode at this time. Free would be preferred, but he’s open to paid if they are great enough.

Third- any great recommendations for uncensored video generators that work well with AI images is very helpful as well, because eventually he will want to incorporate adult content.

Thanks!

I decided to spend a good bit of time, collating all the leading AI Video Gen platforms into an (easily updatable) reference table. With some 5 star ranking based on my own testing. I've broken down their features, quality and pricing tiers (most have a free tier)... and most require a paid subscripton for commerical work. Plus each one typically offers something unique. So far I've included: Kling, Runway. Minimax, Pika, Krea. LumaLabs, Haiper AI, LTX Studio Any others worth noting yet? (*Of course we have Meta Video Gen, Sora, Adobe Firefly Video and Seaweed from Byte Dance yet to be publicly available) Right now, I'd say I find Minimax to produce the best clips in terms of quality of motion and prompt adherence, however the lack of control over the clips other than an image reference and prompt limits the abiliy to control the output (for now). Runway offers the most value via it's broader suite of AI powered tools on the site and the ever improving Gen 3 options. Plus leads the way with its video to video capabilities. Kling offers the best video gen control of clips with its motion brush, highest resolution output and other video controls. Where as LTX offers the best solution for deveoping full narrative video concepts, with superb storyboard generation, only let down by the current quality/adherence of the video generations. Kreas unique ability to allow creative to select from some of the leading video gen models all from one handy UI and one subscription can also prove useful. HaiperAI, offers a very good and broad range of well developed tools and again just needs to improve the quality/adherence of the generated clips. Hopefully, the reference page proves useful for some: https://aianimation.com/best-ai-video-generation-platforms/ With a bit more time, I'll try and include a cost per second of generation. Which is slightly tricky due to the varying monthly fees and each platform having it's own credit usage system.

Runway and Kling are good for real people. Luma is slightly better for anime. They're all censored, though Kling seems slightly less so (for now)

Hey everyone, I know this gets asked a lot, but with how fast AI tools evolve, I’d love to get some updated insights from users here:

What’s the best paid AI video generator right now in 2025?

I’ve tried a few myself, but I’m still on the hunt for something that offers consistent, high-quality results — without burning through credits like water. Some platforms give you 5–10 short videos per month, and that’s it, unless you pay a lot more.

Also: Are there any truly free or open-source alternatives out there? Something like Stable Diffusion but for video — even if it’s more technical or limited.

I’m open to both paid and free tools, but ideally looking for something sustainable for regular creative use.

Would love to hear what this community is using and recommending — especially anyone doing this professionally or frequently. Thanks in advance!
