Did the "wife" in The Truman Show (1998) had to have sex with Truman for the show ?
Yes. I believe somewhere in the commentary they mentioned that she had a clause in her contract where she earns an extra $10,000 every time they sleep with each other. It’s also mentioned in the movie about the camera panning away and you don’t see anything. The actress says that the wife was a child actress who failed to succeed in acting and joined the Truman Show in order to survive. More on reddit.com

In The Truman Show (1998) why was he frorced into marrying Merly?
merly Meryl is there any real reason why Christof believes that he knows Truman so well that he is giving Truman what Truman wants. The movie is a slow revelation that Christof doesn't really know Truman at all. More on reddit.com

[The Truman Show] Truman dies. What are the legal ramifications for the makers of the show?

That largely depends on how he dies. Was it a freak accident, totally unavoidable and unplanned, or did the creator and director of the show use the weather controls to purposely put Truman in a life-threatening situation which killed him? If it's the former, I doubt there'd be any legal ramifications at all criminally speaking. If it's the latter then some degree of homicide would be charged.

What do you think happens after the final scene of the Truman Show?
The sequel I've thought about was that he became a celebrity in the outside world and he's still under eyes of everyone and getting scrutinised. It's kinda same shit, different setting for him. In the end, he faked his death and he's somewhere living happily in a remote island or somewhere away from everybody. More on reddit.com
