I ordered an Xbox and it was sent out a week ago and still hasn’t showed up. Supposedly first class mail. I was provided with a tracking number so I put it in on UPS.com but nothing showed up. I found out that the ups store has a separate website and uses a different tracking system: iShip. When I put in the tracking number on iShip it showed up but the only information it displays is that my package is in transit and being carried by USPS and there’s a slot where you can leave your email. I guess my question would be is there a way to get more information on my package? USPS tracking numbers show you the exact location of your package, but this tracking number is from the ups store.
I work at a ups store and almost everyday I get calls and ppl coming in the store claiming we have their package! I got showed info on a phone saying it’s at ups in blank city and our store is located in said city but we are obviously not a warehouse! I told this woman ur package is at a ups warehouse with thousands and thousands of others so no it’s not here at the store! This was after I explained multiple times that she needed to call customer service….someone also yelled at me and said thanks for effing nothing! It’s not that we don’t want to track your package we literally don’t have access to that database not to mention we are busy handling actual business in the retail store. Please stop calling ups stores for info about ur package. Its not there unless u pay to have it shipped to that store or have a mailbox in said store. “But it says it’s in this city at ups!” Yes but there’s hubs, access points, other stores, and multiple warehouses and the same city! Think next time please use your brain.
I am applying for a visa, and the embassy shipped my passport back with UPS. They did not give me a tracking number because of their system issue or something. Considering the average delivery time, I assume that my package is in my town but I'm not sure.
Is it possible for me to go to one of the local UPS stores and ask them to check where my package is? I only have my address and the information about who shipped it.
Wanted to return a gift by printing a label, boxing, and dropping off at nearby UPS Store. Noticed now they are starting to charge me $1. Is that because Amazon thinks I have made too many returns? I suppose I need to start diversifying my purchases. Bought the same items at Homedepot.com for the same price and faster free shipping. Rather give them the business if I have to return to a store.
