December 24, 2019 - Téa and Véa reappear, after seemingly falling to their death along with Borch earlier in the episode. It turns out, Borch is a rare golden dragon, a mutated creature that can apparently appear in human form.

February 27, 2020 - However, a strange man named Borch Three Jackdaws arrives with his companions, Tea and Vea, and takes them to a nearby tavern where he gives them a mission - to join his team and slay a dragon.

May 15, 2020 - Like every other episode of The Witcher thus far, episode 6 has a little treachery afoot. Someone slit Sir Eyck of Denesle’s throat as he took care of business in private. Yennefer swiftly blames the Reavers for the death, establishing tensions between those on the expedition.

January 1, 2023 - The hunt continues in The Witcher Episode 6. Yarpen says his people used to mine these mountains, and he knows a shortcut that’ll give them an edge over the Reavers. After that, it’ll be every man for himself. Geralt talks with Yen about what she’s doing here, and she reveals she’s after certain healing properties that the green dragon is rumored to possess.

December 31, 2019 - Some time has passed following the Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Chalorta) and Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill)’s meeting and the two now find themselves at odds with another, while Princess Cirilla (Freya Allan) learns she can’t always trust a familiar face in the sixth episode of Netflix’s The Witcher.

December 20, 2021 - In Geralt’s experience, mutations are manmade hence his reasoning that a gold dragon isn’t rare; it doesn’t exist. Dara was starting to question the Doppler as he couldn’t explain how he escaped the Nilfgaardians. He answered that Geralt had saved him and told him to look for Cirilla.

December 21, 2019 - I’m not sure The Witcher actually cares if we’re surprised by this twist — but it does take some of the punch out of scenes like Borch’s “death,” because when a person who is actually a dragon falls off a cliff, it’s probably safe to assume they’ll just use their wings to get out of it. Which is, of course, exactly what happens. But if the adventure is a little more perfunctory than usual this time around, it’s because this episode is ultimately more interested in exploring the bond between Geralt and Yennefer.

December 27, 2019 - For Yen, there could be a chance at correction but for Geralt, he has been and will always be, a Witcher. He’s a character that has very few regrets, though the ones he does — such as his inability to save Renfri — haunt him even decades later. But as harsh as Geralt is, he also shows a softer side that reaches past Yen’s emotional shield wall and salves the pain of never feeling important to someone. Sadly, it lasts only so long before that karmic bitch of destiny rears its head. Perhaps the last moment between these two in season one, the Geralt and Yennefer split is as well done as every other scene they share with one another.

December 24, 2019 - The witcher refuses, saying he doesn't kill dragons—that is, until he sees who's on the other team. It's Yennefer, resplendent in furs, staring at him with those dreamy violet eyes. Jaskier, remembering the events of episode five, wants to get as far away from her as possible. But before the bard can finish his protest, Geralt grunts: "I'm in." Borch is delighted—Jaskier, not so much. ... 1.

January 3, 2020 - Related: The Witcher Showrunner Responds To Criticism Over Netflix Series' Adaptation · In a more interesting turn of events, we now have a name for the evil Nilfgaard henchman: Cahir. We also have a motivation: Nilfgaard is under the thrall of a cult called The White Flame that wants Ciri to fulfill some vague prophecy. He ends the episode by speaking with villainous sorcerer Fringilla – who took Yen’s place in Nilfgaard all those years ago – and making menacing faces at the camera.

January 5, 2021 - Realizing this means that her feelings of love towards the witcher are likely the cause of magic, she leaves in a fury. Jaskier tries to console Geralt, who turns of him, screaming of all the bad luck he’s brought him and storming off himself. Jaskier also storms off. Then we cut to Ciri, who is tied up in the woods. Dara stumbles upon her and frees her, then informs her he is leaving and will no longer be traveling with her. So, everyone hates each other and there’s only two episodes left.

July 27, 2023 - You just have to love 12yo Ciri fighting grown man with sword and saying "he is mine". Oh yes. Another lovely thing is that in 6th episode we finally saw Geralt fight. It was two times in total this season in 20 seconds scenes. You would wonder if its Vampire Diaries or The Witcher a guy created to fight monsters.

January 5, 2023 - A big reason that this episode was a standout for me, was how they balanced pushing the overarching narrative with Ciri forward while building on the relationship between Geralt and Yennefer. the relationship was introduced last week with the djinn and in this episode, we learned what Geralt’s final wish was. Ciri was a standout for me, as we finally get more then 10 minutes of screen time with her evading the Nilfgaardian Army. Seeing how Ciri starts out as naive and trusting anyone at first without a second thought, then seeing her grow to eventually outsmart her enemies was a great treat even if things felt a little rushed, which seems to be a common complaint about the show. The Witcher spans at least 30 years and in that time so much has happened to our main trio that we never really get any context to these characters.
