They literally turned the criticism regarding the writing of season 1 into a fat dude asking for tickets.. Bruh Edit: Ah and needless to say, Jaskier, the "good guy", tells him to write his own song (show), right before the fat guy (us, the criticizing viewers) turns into a racist asshole and beats the shit out of a provocative old elf. This is not even subtle wall-breaking, this is a fat "Fuck you!" almost as fat as Episode 2 as a whole. Funnily enough, the message here loses so much of its "We do what we want" meaning when you look at the changes to armor sets or Triss' hair color. Regardless, this was a really moronic attempt to be clever about firing back at all the reasonable critique you've gotten, dear writers. More on reddit.com

Has to to be the longest running case yet of ye olde "Reddit says it's about to get canceled after every season and gets it wrong every time". They're basically gonna get what they were planning on, and they've constantly renewed this show ahead of time which, seeing as Netflix isn't a charity, shows that ultimately it's making bank and always has. It's good they aren't dragging this beyond S5 though as there is honestly no need - I expect the show to move through the slower parts of the next books very quickly because it's sadly just not the type of show that can (or would even care to try) do justice to e.g all the traveling in BoF and Geralt's character arc in that book.
