November 18, 2025 - Another new casting revealed is the fisherman Gosta (Nick Chadwin), whose advice to Ciri may lead to the famed ice skating sequence that's a highlight of the book saga. These are not characters from the books, so we don't know what impact they’ll have on the storylines. October 30, 2025 - The Witcher season 5 started filming in March 2025, and although it hasn’t been confirmed, it’s surely over by now. The time between wrapping production of a season of The Witcher and its release date has varied, but given that season 5 will be a big season for the show, it will probably arrive in late summer 2026/early fall 2026. ... At the time of writing, there’s no confirmed cast per se for The Witcher season 5, but set photos and season 4 give a hint of who is coming back for the final season.
