For all of you out there who might have issues with the TT RGB Plus software not recognizing your controller (Especially you with an AMD CPU)
Here is a link for the 1.3 version of the software https://file.thermaltake.com/file/software/TTRGBPlus_Setup_133_x64.zip
This is one of the most stable versions, according to reddit.
Once you download it, make sure you disable automatic updates
Unplug your controller from the PSU molex connector (FROM THE CONTROLLER'S END) while the software is open, then plug it back in, it should recognize it now.
Then go to Task Scheduler (search it on the Windows search bar on your task bar) Find the task associated with the software (most likely named TT RGB Plus) and disable it by right clicking and selecting "disable"
Hopefully this will help you all.
Stay positive and faithful to the PC Master Race!
TTRGB Plus do not work
LCD Connection issues (device not recognized)
Fans work, RGB work, but program does not work.. I see this story goes back to 2021. https://community.thermaltake.com/index.php?/topic/250595-tt-rgb-plus-v2-error-can-not-detect-controller-please-check-that-the-fan-controller-is-connected/ But there is no solution, I am in trouble, even the latest version did not help me TT RGB PLUS Software.

Please do not recommend MoshiMoshi0 It does not find the Port Identifier and I'm not a coder. If there was a full format then I might be able to use it but its done in bits and pieces I'll admit it's confusing. A working Gui would be better.
I was thinking about buy the MSI MAX ARGB any thoughts? Would it work in place of the TT controller?
In case there is a representative from Thermatake I woke up to no RGB lighting but fans still spinning. Removed and reconnect Molex cable and tried different Molex connections on PSU and still no RGB just fan spinning. The kit is a Riing Plus 12
Update: after two replacement hubs from TT they now work.
There has been enormous feedback about Thermaltake dismal fan controller software on this site and others. I find myself in the same situation and many others in that I have 11 theralmatake ring trios TT premium and every time I start my computer, its a guess if one, two, three or none of the controllers will be detected.
I wish I could afford to move to another brand but for now I'm stuck. Has anyone found another (3rd party Controller or app) way to by pass therrmaltake junk and run and control the fans using another means. Desperate for help... thanks in advance.
What version do you use ? Try out the 1.4.4 this version seems to work well.
But it looks outdated...at least it also works with neon maker form TT.
I have same problem as you have just with 2 controllers with 7 fans.
TT are still working on the software using peoples Bug logs they send to supports.
Im using the 2.0.5 version that seems to work beside the controller detection.
I filled out ther tech form regarding my problem and had em send another box to test. But lately some of my riing quad fans dont light up in the middel ring. So they also shipped me 3 new fans. Im gona wait until i got all the new stuff i asked for to test if it works.
But for now sometimes both boxes are detected and others just 1 of em are detected and its random 1 or 2 box or both. Or seems like each 3 or 4 th time i power on my pc then it bugs out.
For now you can keep shutdown and power on ur pc until they all detects...
Another tip i got from a supporter was NOT to connect mulitiple boxes to one power source aka cable. I havent tryed that for now but i will as soon i get my new fans. For now my 2 boxes share the same 4 pin power cable. So this could be a fix if you got a spare 4 pins power cable hanging that dont use any other devices.
Perhaps you can test it for me ?
So you need 3 single cable 4 pin power ports to connect to each box. Im not sure if it helps using 2 usb power pins aswell. or 3 if you got a multi usb controller box :D
I would also like these fans to work 100 % rather than 90 %
Has anyone found another (3rd party Controller or app) way to by pass therrmaltake junk and run and control the fans using another means. Desperate for help... thanks in advance.

About 2 weeks ago I purchased the 5 fan pack of RGB fans that come with a controller
https://www.thermaltakeusa.com/riing-plus-12-rgb-radiator-fan-tt-premium-edition-5-fan-pack.html
Today I come to my PC and the "TT RGB Plus" software says that it cannot find the controller.. after two weeks of working properly.
I spent 2 hours working on it, unplugging, uninstalling software, ect. When finally the last thing I tried was to unplug the molex power to the controller while the PC was on.. and it worked.
My question is, is this going to happen again, is my controller defective?
TT rgb software is the worst. There are few open source rgb programs out to try out.
i had to keep unplugging the usb i took them apart plugged a usb cord into the fitting and usb into the back of the machine and it worked fine theres something wrong with the usb fittings i had to open the case and change to usb and it worked
Please save me before I throw my entire Thermaltake PC out the window. You don't even have to save me, save my computer for the love of God.
As title says, fan controller not being read by the software. I have done research on the web and this subreddit to find a solution but have come up empty handed (past 3 days i have done about 4 hours of research and maybe a little less than 3 hours of trial and error, not including the time it took to reinstall the controllers-see below).
I have (6) total Riing Plus fans, (3) are on the front of the case, and the remainder are on the radiator mounted on the top (Floe Riing RGB 360). I was sick of having (2) controllers for the RGB Software, which honestly worked wonders. I installed both controllers and it worked right off the bat. Played with the RGB. At that moment. So I was going to buy more fans and use the addressable RGB, buy the (9) fan controller hub etc etc etc. I bought it, found out my MB was NOT compatible, tossed it in my box of spare components.
I went to reinstall the original (2) controllers (exactly like i had before) and now the software is not detecting them (could not find pos fan controller..........error code:H_0x0001). I have tried the following:
-switching the controllers between the fans
-ensuring the dip switches numbering the controllers are not the same
-separating the controllers on two different molex power cables
-uninstalling/reinstalling the software while unplugging/replugging the fans/power into the controller
Any suggestions? I'm at a loss for words, and ideas, to make the software read the controllers. I also have (3) more fans sitting in the mail room right now, but am hesitant on even opening them. I was going to use them for a push/pull on the radiator. Now all I want to use them for are paper weights. Would be cool to have unicorn like paper weights.
I just want to control my damn rainbow..
Been searching all over the internet for a solution for this, bought a pc with a thermaltake level 2 MT case, and a thermaltake UX100 cpu cooler. I have been trying to enter the TT RGB plus software since i got it about two weeks ago but have had no luck, my asus mother board does not support aurasync, but i don't mind that, i only want to be able to control the case fans' speed and colour. If anyone could help me please comment below.
My motherboard is an ASUS prime B365M-A, i don't know if i am missing anything to plugin because the only cables that i can find in the box are to sync rgb but those do not connect to my mother board, the asus aura sync connection is not in my board
Did you get a cord with the cooler/fabs that is a 9pin mono connect on one end and the other end is micro-usb? Other cords needed include: controller power —> molex connector, and fan power cords plugged into the controller.
The cord I’m speaking of will plug into the micro usb on the controller and the 9pin end will plug into a USB spot on your mobo.
Hope this helps!
