[Hardware Support - Cooling] How to Install Riing Plus Controllers – Thermaltake Technology
If you are installing multiple controllers, there is a cable that links the controllers together. The cable is a 4pin to Micro USB as shown below. Linking them in this manner will allow the program to see the controllers and work together to manage RGB patterns and colors.

What RGB controller can i use with my Thermaltake case fans?
You seem to have some of this covered, but I'm going to use a little more detail because I expect I'll reference back to this comment in the future. I don't think Tt uses proprietary connectors, so that should make it easier. The product page for the case says it supports motherboard sync, which should mean the case controller can connect to the motherboard for control. The RGB Manual shows the two common aRGB/dRGB connection options for motherboard sync. This is nice, means you have a built-in hub. Now for the motherboard. Page 39 shows only RGB headers (the manual will typicall have RGB/aRGB listed next to each other in this section). One option would be to use a "converter" that changes aRGB (5V) to RGB (12V), but the downside with these is that it makes aRGB into RGB, so no rainbows or waves or any of the advanced patterns that take advantage of the addressable portion of aRGB. So this is probably not a solution for you. That means a controller. There are some manual ones out there that have buttons on the controller or a remote or a phone app, but most these are just variations on the presets your built-in controller has. So far the one I'm more familiar with is the small aRGB controller from cooler master, which can use USB and the CM software for control. For some reason CM is atrocious when it comes to providing information, thankfully this video covers some of the details the product page doesn't: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3M67uC47zo Note that the USB header adapter they use is not included. Also, it probably requires a firmware update to work. I'm on the lookout for other options, so posts like this remind me to see what might be new out there. For example, I just came across this new (to me) option: Zalman Z-Sync which seems to offer a number of aRGB ports and connection via USB2 header and control with their software or Razer Chroma. And at 4A capacity it seems like it could be an interesting option. I'll have to check this one out more. Another new one is this GELID aRGB + fan hub/controller, but this seems more DIY as it's open-source and based on an Arduino. Hope that helps. Best RGB controller for thermaltake fans and corsair case?
What model fans? What model case? https://pcmasterrace.org/news/rgb-guide This link will have info about the common lighting connectors as well as some options for controllers too. If either the fans or the case need something proprietary, we can figure that out. More on reddit.com

TT RGB Controllers not Detected in TT RGB Plus
Welcome to hell btw :D I have 7 riing quads fans in 2 of these controllers connected to each ther own molex rail. Sometimes the controller is not detected. Some times it works fine for a week or 14 days and then suddenly it only works 50 % of the times i boot up. I tryed to connect a new controller that i got from TT and it worked fine for few days. Then another guy in here told me he had same problem, but i said it that 99 % of the times this messed up, then it was related to the power cables since these molex cables from Tt are very cheap made. I will sugest you try and disconnenct the molex power from the controller and the psu and then connect em again firmly and make sure each in is realy tight connected. I just did that and it seems to work for a week now. So i bet that since you installed new units then the old molex cables got touched and somehow dosent work now since these controllers are super sensitive regarding power. Here is rgb plus 2.0.6.1 This works for me atm https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/u5iqq7unus5cs8q135z82/h?dl=0&rlkey=dy9mzvbu2xaudn9fri0qmh4lx More on reddit.com

TT RGB PLUS CONTROLLER NOT RECOGNIZED?
Or ask for a replacement controller. Worked for me. I also send my bug log to the support and eventualy right before new year they made 2.5 that seems to work. Also if you have more than one controller or other units connected to ur 4 pins molex plugin cable then dont connect more then 1 box pr power cable. This also seems to work. Im still testing but i was given this advise from support. So now i have 2 boxes with each ther own 4 pin power cable and nothing else. Or 1.4.4 version also works. More on reddit.com

r/pcmasterrace on Reddit: What RGB controller can i use with my Thermaltake case fans?
October 22, 2020 -

So a couple months back I upgraded to a Thermaltake View 71 TG ARGB, and it is awesome. I put my hand at the exhaust and it is pretty chilly most of the time. The RGB control built in is fine, but I'm trying to really get the most out of the A in ARGB. My motherboard, the MSI X470 GAMING PLUS, has no 5v ARGB headers on the mobo, and I don't wanna just discard my current fans. So, is there a good rgb controller that i can connect to the 5v headers on the fan pcb (on the left side of the case)?
