Can Glass & Plastic Sheets be returned?
Hi folks, I'm looking for plastic sheet that's flexible enough to wrap around into a 6"diameter cylinder, but durable enough to reuse. The screenshot is from a video from Sam Fox Shops, but he doesn't identify the plastic (despite many comments requesting the info).
I imagine this is fairly common, but I don't want to order just any old product and have to test out several things. If anyone here has a specific material and thickness they've used, if love to hear about it. Thanks!
I am looking for a type of flexible plastic available in sheet (or strips 8mm wide), presumably less than 1mm thick that would be flexible enough to bend around curves in tubes with a radius of about an inch and which would spring back to straight when retrieved. Don't care about color.
Hi all,
I'm making a duffel bag, and I'd like to add some sturdiness to the bottom. Specifically, I want to slide a thin 21" x 14" sheet in between the the liner and outer fabric. I have no idea where to buy such, and I'm also unsure what to even search for. I see acrylic sheets listed online, but that seems to be thicker than desired and sometimes it's essentially plexiglass? Maybe a local arts/crafts store would have such? Or a hardware store? To be clear, it should be flexible and thin enough that when held in one hand, you could move it up and down and it would bend and probably make a funny noise.
I've done this in the past with a different duffel, as the university design shop I was working in randomly had some plastic sheets lying around. The past bag has worked well for the past 5 years, but it's time to make a new one!
Thanks.
