April 24, 2025 - I wouldn’t say it’s a kiddie coaster, but rather one that everyone can enjoy together. No big drops, and it doesn’t go upside down. For little ones, there’s Dragon Training Camp, an interactive area with games. The Shops are themed like blacksmith forges and fishmongers. Isle of Berk in Epic Universe is designed to be a place where you can interact with various characters from the How to Train Your Dragon franchise.

Don’t miss The Untrainable Dragon, the crowd-pleasing stage spectacular with Hiccup & Toothless appearing in a mystifying flying sequence (I definitely had tears in my eyes.) Hiccup’s Wing Gliders is the land’s family coaster and is sure to be the sleeper hit of Universal Epic Universe.

2 weeks ago - Many franchises were rumored to appear in the park, including lands dedicated to How to Train Your Dragon, Fantastic Beasts, Universal Classic Monsters, and the Nintendo franchises Super Mario and Donkey Kong. In January 2020, the presence of Super Nintendo World in the park was confirmed by multiple Comcast executives. Epic Universe's version of Super Nintendo World was officially announced in February 2023, with CEO Mark Woodbury calling it the "worst-kept secret in history".

If magic runs through your veins and you're just itching to see the horrible Dolores Umbridge finally be brought to justice, you're going to want to run to Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry first thing in the morning. That means — whether you're staying at a Universal Orlando Resort hotel or not — heading toward The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic as soon as Early Park Admission begins (which means entering through Chronos and being ready to rope drop in front of the How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk portal before Early Park Admission begins).

October 15, 2025 - But we still didn’t go on Mine-Cart Madness, Yoshi Adventure, Hiccup’s Wing Glider, Dragon Racer’s Rally, Constellation Carousel, meet Toothless or any other characters, or do any of the interactive wand locations. Not saying you can’t have a wonderful one day, but if you can manage more than one, you’ll definitely be able to do more. Lots to see at Epic Universe! If there’s one thing modern theme parks are implementing it’s the use of their apps.

September 20, 2025 - And do you really want to wait in line again to get good at it? The views of the Isle of Berk alone make Dragon Racer's Rally a totally worthwhile experience if you're able to jump on with a shorter wait. But with a few world-class rides just minutes away, a pleasant filler ride like this just can't match up to the stiff competition its neighbors offer. ... Super Nintendo World offers one of the few Epic Universe attractions made purely for young children, and it's a pretty good "one of those."
