Hi Marrion,
I wanted to inform you that I am currently using the Logitech M185 mouse, which features a single USB receiver for both the mouse and keyboard.
Hello everyone,
considering I've been troubleshooting this issue for about four days now, I thought it would be nice to have this in the public domain should someone need it.
This is related to the driver "fhybd1042_1_w10w11", a firmware update for Hybrid Lenovo Docking Stations, crashing upon being opened. As much as I'd like to heroically recall the last few days of this infuriating struggle, I'll just get to the point:
It's WINS.
Specifically, the utility calls IPHLPAPI to parse network adapters, but fails at freeing the heap where that list is stored due to a corrupted entry. It turns out, whatever happens in this process cannot handle more than 2 WINS servers being configured.
So, if you have multiple entries under "Secondary WINS-Server" in ipconfig, reconfigure DHCP until you only have ONE primary and ONE secondary, and the problem is fixed.
Cheers.

Hi DurgaPrasadK,
Thank you for getting back on this here with us and sorry to hear that the steps suggested did not work. Please proceed with these steps below:
Open Device Manager
Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers
Do this on all the items or drivers listed under Universal Serial Bus controllers:
Double-click on the driver and see if Power Management tab is available
Uncheck the box next to Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option then click OK
Close Device manager then test if still issue persists
Kind regards,
Marrion
Can I get a download link to the firmware version 1.0.19 for my Thinkpad Universal USB-C Dock v2 (40B7)?
if anyone has a direct link that would be appreciated.
It seems as if Lenovo has removed the firmware for the USB-C Gen 2 dock. https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/gb/en/accessories/acc500106
The support page is still up, however scrolling down to Drivers and Software, and then clicking the firmware button provides the following link:
http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/DS539092
This redirects to a page not found.
Is anyone aware of where to find the firmware for the dock? This is pretty frustrating!
Lenovo P1 Gen 2 loses communication with this dock.
I've got an issue where it seems to just stop working, or at least partially working. My mouse is working, network connection is lost, and it stops charging the laptop. I just received this laptop and dock last week. Has anyone else experience this issue and/or know of a fix?
