There are so many options, but I’m looking for the thinnest MagSafe charger for my Air! Something maybe 20w or so?
This has been asked before but I’m looking for more up to date recommendations.
I have an iPhone 15
I’m looking for a thin wireless power bank. Something that I don’t need to connect my phone via usb to charge while I’m on the go.
Smaller and thinner the better.
Thanks in advance.

I'm looking for a battery pack that I can comfortably fit in my pocket when on my phone. It doesn't need a big capacity, just enough to give me some extra juice. I don't care about 15W charging, but I do care about my phone not heating up because of it. So I guess basically looking for something like the original apple magsafe battery pack.
I know that sharge makes ones with a fan, but not sure if they actually stay cooler than the competition. Plus they aren't really slim.
This may be a pipe dream, but has anyone found a MagSafe iPhone battery pack / charger that is...
slim/lightweight
charges reliably and quickly
doesn't overheat too much
Fully portable battery pack -- that attaches to the back of the phone while on the go
under $60 USD
In case it matters, this is for an iPhone 14 Pro
Okay, so I just picked up the new iPhone Air MagSafe battery and… wow. I’ve owned my fair share of portable chargers, but this thing feels totally different. Let me break it down:
What I love:
The ridiculous thinness: It’s only 3,000mAh, so yeah, it makes sense, but this is hands down the thinnest portable battery I’ve ever held. It feels less like a chunky power bank and more like slipping a slim wallet or card holder into your pocket. With bigger packs I usually debate whether to even bring them, but this one? I just throw it in my pocket without thinking.
The soft-touch material: the attaching side isn’t rough or plasticky—it’s smooth, almost luxurious. Actually feels good against your hand/skin.
It charges AirPods wirelessly: Didn’t expect it to work, but it does. Super handy.
**The design details:**The charging light hides behind translucent plastic, so it glows subtle and clean instead of screaming “cheap blinking LED.” Legit one of the nicest-looking power banks I’ve ever seen.
Size vs. a regular pack: Put it next to my 10,000mAh Anker brick and the difference is insane—this thing is dramatically slimmer and way easier to carry.
The cons:
$100 for 3,000mAh is… yeah, steep. You can grab 25,000mAh bricks for the same price.
No wireless recharge for the battery itself (no MagSafe puck support). USB-C only.
No real battery indicator—just orange when dying, green when charged. No idea how much is left unless you guess.
Pretty much exclusive to the iPhone Air. Doesn’t really fit other devices.
At 3,000mAh it’s not a heavy-use solution. If you’re traveling or powering multiple devices, you’ll still want a bigger 10,000mAh+ pack.
Overall: If you’re an iPhone Air user who likes to travel light, this thing is perfect. Apple clearly leaned into slimness with the phone, and this accessory nails the same vibe -tiny boost, premium feel, disappears in your pocket. I’ll still pack my bigger brick for long trips, but for daily carry? This one’s staying with me.

I’m looking to get a slim MagSafe powerbank. The form factor and appearance is most important to me, so long as the powerbank is capable of charging an iPhone 12 up halfway atleast. Preferably one which doesn’t overheat as to protect the longevity of the powerbank itself. Any recommendations?
Sooo I'm a pretty heavy user and am daily outdoors, so I think of getting a magsafe battery pack.
Which is the thinnest? I don't want it to stick and get in the way every time I put it in my pocket. This said, apple's original doesn't fit my requirements.
Apple magsafe.
My wife and I each have one of these for our 13 mini and we love them! Very strong magnet and charges perfect! https://www.getcasely.com/collections/power-pods?tw_source=google&tw_adid=494013585074&tw_source=google&tw_adid=494013585074&utm_campaign=12143001098&gclid=CjwKCAjwqZSlBhBwEiwAfoZUIBlRzcHQDM5deZsFHBkrEjJd2YO_afggxFuHhJHnsAmmS73r9A4xWRoCFpMQAvD_BwE
Hey r/GalaxyFold
I got tired of the wildly inaccurate capacity claims from MagSafe battery pack manufacturers and the constant gamble of whether a new pack would actually fit my phone case. So, I went down a bit of a rabbit hole, bought 14 different packs (including a ridiculous Haribo-branded one for a laugh), and decided to test them all.
My goal was to find out two main things: what's the real capacity behind the marketing, and how well do they fit with a couple of popular case styles for phones with larger camera bumps?
This is my first time doing a big write-up like this, so please bear with me if the formatting isn't perfect. I welcome any and all constructive feedback in the comments! Let's get to the data.
A Quick Note on Efficiency & My Testing Method
Before we dive in, let's talk about efficiency.
Wireless charging (MagSafe/Qi2) is only about 60% efficient, with the rest lost as heat. So, a 5,000 mAh pack should deliver about 3,000 mAh... IF the packs didn't lie about their capacity.
Wired charging is much better, at about 80-90% efficient.
Because of the misleading advertised numbers, I performed a wired 100-0% discharge test on each pack to find its true capacity.
My (non-scientific) wireless charging test was done as follows:
Case: Generic AliExpress MagSafe case.
Conditions: The phone was placed face up on my bed with the battery pack underneath it (pack touching the bed). The screen was on the entire time running Battery Guru, at about 1/3rd brightness.

⭐ My Personal Favorites ⭐
Baseus PicoGo 5k: My top choice for a daily driver. Even with a lower actual capacity (2200 mAh), its compact size, amazing grip, and super-strong magnets are unbeatable. It's also one of the few 5k packs that fits my generic case.
INIU ultra slim 5k: A very close second. It has one of the highest true capacities (3200 mAh) of the 5k bunch, is quite slim, and has that cool-as-hell lanyard that's also a built-in USB-C cable. A fantastic all-rounder.
Summary / TL;DR
Advertised Capacity is a Lie: Every single battery pack tested well below its advertised mAh. "5000 mAh" packs ranged from 1500 to 3200 mAh. The "10000 mAh" packs were a wide spread from a disappointing 5200 mAh to a more honest 6100 mAh.
Case Fit is Crucial: For cases with a continuous camera ridge (like many aramid fiber/Thinborne styles), most flat battery packs will not fit. You need one with a smaller footprint (like the Baseus) or a raised MagSafe ring.
Top Picks:
For Everyday Carry: Baseus PicoGo (best grip & magnet) and INIU 5k (highest 5k capacity & clever cable).
For Max Capacity: iWalk 10k or Mekiki 10k. Both are true ~6000 mAh packs that fit all cases tested so far.
Notable Mentions:
The Joke Entry: The Haribo 10k pack underdelivered significantly on capacity (5200 mAh) but does fit the generic case. Buy it for the memes, not the performance.
Avoid: The LISEN Ultra Slim due to its painfully slow charging speed.
Coming Soon: I will update this post once the Thinborne case arrives and I've had a chance to test compatibility across the board. Stay tuned!
Hi! I just got the iPhone 17 Pro and I’m looking for a compact, lightweight MagSafe battery I can stick to my phone — something to top me up while I’m in the airport so I don’t have to hunt for an outlet. Around 5,000 mAh should be plenty (I just need roughly a 70% top-up). The priority is that it’s small and slim enough to carry in my pocket or attach to the phone without looking bulky. What would you recommend?
I'm in the market for a MagSafe battery pack for my iPhone and feeling a little overwhelmed by all the options out there. I'm looking for something reliable, efficient, and ideally not too bulky.
What are your experiences? Any specific brands or models you absolutely love (or hate)?
Looking for the "best" in terms of:
Charging speed
Capacity vs. Size
Durability
Value for money
Any extra features (like pass-through charging, etc.)
I don't need an expensive one with a lot of charge or fast charging. I just don't want it to get too hot. I've mainly been looking at the Anker 621 and MOFT's stackable one.
Now I'm currently searching for the best MagSafe battery pack to keep my iPhone charged while I'm on the go. I’m looking for something compact, reliable, and efficient that magnetically snaps on and delivers a decent charge without being bulky or overheating.
I’ve come across a few options during my research, but I’d really appreciate hearing about your personal experiences and any recommendations you might have. Some of the MagSafe battery packs I’ve been considering include:
Anker 633 Magnetic Battery (MagGo)
Belkin BoostCharge Magnetic Wireless Power Bank
ESR HaloLock Power Bank
Mophie Snap+ Juice Pack Mini
Spigen ArcHybrid Mag
OtterBox Wireless Power Bank for MagSafe
Apple MagSafe Battery Pack
If you’ve tried any of these or have another go-to MagSafe battery pack that’s worked well for you, please share your thoughts!
Hey guys, I used to have a magsafe powerbank, but the charging speed felt way too slow and honestly it didn’t feel great in the hand either. so now I’m looking to a new one asap. Got any recs?
I have an iPhone 15 pro max. Looking for the slimmest battery pack that either itself can charge via MagSafe or can just be on the phone while the phone charges with it.
Sometimes the work day drains my battery to just barely not make it. So I’m ok if it’s a lower mah
To be clear: I don’t want to use any cables. I want to see if I can get a MagSafe power bank that can either itself charge wirelessly or be on the back of the phone and the phone is on a wireless and it charges both
Does that exist
Is the apple exclusive 5k slim anker power bank really that bad?
Is it true that it shows up on the batter widget now with IOS 18.3.1? read it on a youtube comment.
I have the 10k anker with screen put I just one something smaller.
