I bought one a few years ago. It's a different model than this but I paid like $1000 and it's held up great for that price. I have two dogs with no respect for furniture and the fabric remains in great shape. I have had it cleaned annually. Mine is comfortable - not stiff and it softened a bit but the bounce remains. The only part which has lost it's shape are the corner cushions because my dog likes to sleep there and it's sagged over time. No regrets on it. Answer from Southwestern on reddit.com

Need a couch for our house and are interested in this deal. How is this couch and Thomasville in general? What’s the firmness like? How does the fabric feel? How do they hold up over time? We went to our warehouse but there’s no furniture on the floor right now.

Very comfortable, nice deep cushions, easy to assemble, all covers come off cushions and wash very nicely! Have had mine for 2+ years now and have no regrets, would purchase again.

The Thomasville Lowell Couch has two links for the 8 piece online and both come up when searching for "thomasville sectionals" on costco.com . One is out of stock and less updated in details but lists the couch for $2,499.99 (currently $500 off). The other seems more up to date and is in stock and lists the 8 piece for $2,399.99. The 6 piece is listed as out of stock but is priced at $2,499.99 and does not come up when doing a search on costco's website (I had to find the link by googling for the item).

The price discrepancy seems weird to me and I'm wondering if they're no longer going to carry and restock the 6 piece. Asking for selfish reasons since I have no room for the 8 piece couch and there is only one other modular thomasville sectional option available on costco's website these days. Nearby warehouses all say they have no couches on the floor or in stock since its outdoor furniture season.
