Have a v3 Aeotech hub that has matter/thread. It sits on one side of house. In that room I have some new smartwings matter blinds. Work perfect.
On the other side of house I have some other new Smartwings blinds. But it is too far to see the Aeotech. I have lots of zigbw and Z-Wave devices in that side of the house but the matter blinds can’t seem to get a signal.
Any idea how to extend the matter network? I thought I could buy a 2nd Aeotech but that didn’t work. Is it a matter of having more matter devices or is there some sort of extender to reach the smarthings Aeotech hub? (Excuse the pun)

Are All Thread Devices Repeaters?
What is the difference between a Thread Router and a Thread Border Router?
What Is Thread?
Hi! I'm looking into some of these Ikea Thread sensors, however I know the signal won't reach all the way around my home. What's the least expensive way to extend the signal? Unfortunately all the Ikea devices I want run batteries.
No Alexa, Homepod suggestions please.
As a crappy workaround I ordered a couple of the cheapest Kajplats bulbs, and am planning to just plug them in without turning them on :)
Edit: Can't recommend the bulbs as range extenders - from my experience they're not that great in terms of range, but suffer from an issue where the sensors decide to route themselves through it, and when it drops the connection, all those sensors drop as well. So in practice it made things worse for me :(
Hi, I’m looking to create a thread mesh throughout my home and beyond to some outbuildings where the current Wi-Fi won’t reach. What devices are there out there can can allow this thread network to exist? Looks like it’s just the Eve energy sockets at the moment and possible some Nanoleaf bulbs ( from what I understand anyway!!). Is there anything else out there that can do this job? Extra border routers won’t work as there is no Wi-Fi in many places, as mentioned above and I’m assuming that they won’t work properly if they’re not connected to Wi-Fi.
I’m in Europe by the way, so we don’t have anywhere near as many options as people in the US in general.
Thanks
So I have a HomePod Mini and I’m intrigued by Thread support. I’m not sure what the range indoors of the Thread connectivity is, however. If I get a few Nanoleaf bulbs, do they essentially daisy chain themselves? What is the practical distance between Thread devices to complete a stable connection?
