Anyone ever had a thyroid rash??
I had an issue last year where I broke out in hives all over my body. I believe it turned out to be a thyroid issue as I also had no luck with antihistamines and changing detergents More on reddit.com

Skin rashes and under active thyroid

Yes, I had that badly before diagnosis. It came on under stress and most of all if I was physically tired/stressed on a hot day of driving long distances.....200-300kms. (Australia here!!)

So I'd say your levels are low as I hadn't started treatment when it was happening to me.

hashimoto rash
Not long before my Hashi’s symptoms began, I started suddenly experiencing random hives. They would appear out of nowhere and sometimes be gone the same day and sometimes last for weeks. I could never figure out what caused them. Over time they got worse. After my Hashi’s diagnosis and new medication regimen, they got worse but, I’d always forget to ask the doctor about it because they always went away before an appointment. They would start as just intensely itchy skin on my forearms and my scalp and my face and ears, they would look like darkened patches of skin, then they’d sometimes turn into welts and turn red, on my scalp it would just be hard itchy bumps and they were always in the same spots. Finally during one appointment, I still had some on my left forearm and asked my doctor, describing how they’d appear and my symptoms and she said it’s Solar Urticaria. It’s basically an autoimmune allergic reaction to sun exposure. She gave me an ointment to use but, it doesn’t prevent the hives, it just helps relieve the symptoms. There’s really nothing I can do besides try to limit sun exposure. Maybe that’s what you have or maybe it’s some other autoimmune skin condition. When we have one autoimmune disease, it’s common to develop others as well. Once our immune system decides part of our own body is an enemy, it starts looking for more enemies. More on reddit.com
