Ways You Support Your Thyroid Naturally?
If your thyroid isn’t making thyroid hormones, they have to be replaced. It’s as simple as that. Thyroid hormones are necessary for life. No supplements, exercise, etc will change that. Exercise can be good for mood (in some people) and of course is good for weight and maintaining overall health. Supplements can be good if you’re deficient in those things. If you aren’t deficient, and it’s something like a water soluble vitamin, you’ll just pee it out and waste your money. If it’s a fat soluble vitamin, and you take too much, it can accumulate in your body and cause health problems. More on reddit.com

Has anyone treated their hypothyroidism through lifestyle and diet changes?
There isn't a cure for hypothyroidism. It is a condition that has to be managed with doctor prescribed medicine. Lifestyle changes and reducing stress can help with symptoms and help medication work better. But the key component is medication. More on reddit.com

Fact or myth - curing hypothyroidism
I weighed 115lbs at diagnosis ~13 years ago. I weigh 115lbs now. My BMI is ~19. Ate healthy then. Eat healthy now. Weight has nothing to do with my hypothyroidism (no known reason for mine, I don’t have Hashimoto’s). I need my medications to supplement what my body simply does not make on its own. Are any of these latter people medical doctors/endocrinologists, or are they people trying to sell you diet plans? Yes, being a healthy weight, eating healthy, moving your body are all important for many reasons, but you can’t count on it to cure your thyroid. And you don’t need to purchase fancy diet plans or products or get into MLMs to get there, either. More on reddit.com

Anyone ever cure their hypothyroidism through diet and exercise?
Unfortunately, diet and exercise can only do so much. Hypo is the result of your body not producing enough hormones, something your body naturally does and which cannot be fixed by any current medical or non-medical treatment. Whilst eating healthily and exercising regularly is always good for you and will no doubt help energy levels in general, it can’t reverse a natural deficiency. More on reddit.com

Restoring Thyroid Hormone Balance | The Institute for Functional Medicine
Gut health and a balanced microbial landscape benefit many system processes in the body, and gut dysbiosis and intestinal autoimmune diseases have been reported concurrently with autoimmune thyroid diseases.18,20,21 Studies continue to detail the gut-thyroid axis mechanisms and interactions.22To further explore the relationship between gut and thyroid health, a 2020 clinical trial (n=60) investigated the effect of synbiotic supplementation (which combines pre and probiotic ingredients) on thyroid function.23 Patients with hypothyroidism on levothyroxine either received 500 mg/day of the synbiotic or a placebo for eight weeks. After treatment, results indicated a beneficial effect, with TSH concentration, levothyroxine dose, and fatigue severity scale scores significantly decreased in the synbiotic group compared to placebo.23
