Since we have new tidal price, wondering if anything changed regards streaming on Sonos system. Got any better? Máje sense to switch from Spotify?

Hi@ToniL,I don’t use Tidal myself, so after discussing with a colleague we bothhadassumed Tidal Connect was similar to Spotify Connect, where it was a simple streaming feature as the steps on theTidal Connect page on connecting a device are the same steps for Sonos devices.However Sonos doesn’t manage the integrations of other music servicefeatures, this is something that Tidal themselves would have to. I’m sure many Tidal users would love this feature to be part of Sonos.I’m not sure exactly how this would workbut, seeing as we already support casting from the Tidal app to Sonos speakers, it should be possible to integrate Tidal Connect as you have described, thoughagain this would be up to Tidal.I’d recommend reaching out to Tidal and letting them know you’d like this feature to work with Sonos as well.

The exact same thing happened to me, it started on Friday. I can access everything on Tidal except my own playlists getting a 'something went wrong' message. It's the Android app which I've tried on both tablet and phone. Done all of the usual reboot nonsense. I can access my playlists through the sonos webapp which does display them but sonos support has been pretty useless so far sending me round in circles.

Looking at your screenshot (I do not use Tidal) I'd say using Airplay is the only option available.Bonus answer: you're wrong, at least since the last couple of weeks. To give things the best chance of going smoothly, please turn your router off for at least 30 seconds. While you are waiting, please also reboot your phone/tablet. Once WiFi returns, please wait another minute or two before trying again.If that hasn'thelped, and if you have the option,please try adding the Tidal service using a different phone/tablet.And if you’re still struggling at this point, I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.I hope this helps.

The Sonos app doesn’t display the audio quality when streaming from TIDAL. But as far as I know, if you have a TIDAL HiFi subscription, music will stream on Sonos at16-bit/44.1kHzlossless FLAC.TIDAL Premium streams on Sonos at320kbps AAC.

Is this for Tidal to integrate?100% on Tidal. Sonos provides an API for the music servicesto integrate and the coding of that integration is up to the service themselves.
