Can I offer payment plans or layaway options for fans?
Does Tixr offer purchase protection?
Does Tixr have a loyalty or affiliate program and how does it work?
I was lucky to get tickets to Lady Gaga's upcoming upcoming tour for 2 different dates.
Long story short she didn't announce dates in my city until more recently, so I ended up initially getting tickets in another state, but since she's going to be at the arena 15 min from me, I no longer need to travel to the other state to see her. I just want to have my original ticket sold asap, so I purposely priced it at a significant lower rate than the other tickets in the same area. Keep in mind, my ticket is an 8th row floor seat that is right next to the catwalk.
As of today the ticket still hasn't sold, so I opened Ticketmaster in another browsers to find my ticket, and I see that Ticketmaster has the price listed at $450 more than I listed it at! It's even $150 more than the seats that are rows closer to the stage. I'm so annoyed because I just want to sell it and I'm not trying to be a scalper. But no one is going to buy it at the rate they are showing it at.
Does anyone know how to work around this issue??
As the title indicates, these tickets are selling for $752 as Ticketmaster's "Premium" tickets. However, Premium is not VIP or some extra package, it is merely Ticketmaster's term for dynamically-priced tickets, as TM explains: "Platinum Tickets are tickets that are dynamically priced up and down based on demand. Platinum Tickets are not part of VIP packages - they are tickets only."
I am wondering if this somehow violates New York's anti-price-gouging law, General Business Law §396-R.
Is this a way to control the flow of ticket sales? Is it an incentive to ensure early ticket sales? What's the purpose here? I am not understanding why someone who bought their tix at 12pm paid less than someone who bought their ticket at 4pm for the same exact show, amenities, and experience. It seems to be totally against the vibe of the event.
Genuinely curious, thanks in advance for any insights into this.
Im pretty new to music festivals so this might sound stupid
