Having use this program for 6 months, I find it quite useful for company research. Having not used Bloomberg Terminal before nor being able to afford it, for those that have used both what are the main differences?

Hello Investors near and far,
Does anybody use the mentioned platform on a regular basis?
To he who uses it: What is your opinion? Would you recommend the platform to others? What is still lackluster?
I’m asking because I received a very intriguing offer and I’m not quiet sure if I should seize the opportunity.
As of right now I’m doing my work with: Finviz, Yahoo Finance, Megatrends and Morningstar
Looking forward to your replies.
Cheers
Has anyone ever used tikr? I checked out the free version and its cool but was wondering if its worth paying for? At least the first tier of paid services.
If not, if you had to pay for a service as a retail investor, which would you choose? If you already using one , which is it? Thanks!!
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a tool to access company financials. I know there are plenty of options out there, like Yahoo Finance and Seeking Alpha, but most free versions have limited data.
I’m considering getting a subscription, but I’m not sure which one to choose. Do you have any recommendations? Which tools are you using, and would you suggest them?
Also, if you know of any good free tools, I’d love to hear about them.
Thanks in advance!
Pretty much what the title says.
I've seen a couple of YouTube use it like Hamish Hodder, investing with Tom, etc.
I generally go through 10ks to double check the numbers of these sites. But the free version seems solid enough.
What are your thoughts?
-
if the free version does the job, why pay?
-
may as well save yourself the however many $/£/€ it is a year!
Hamish and investing with tom are solid. Theyre not trying to sell anything or pump up stuff.
Hamish does have a class but it's based around value investing and it's a group collaboration.
Im not watching 12 year olds talking about option on tik tok.
I already have seeking alpha but data isn’t that detailed and more for articles.
Another option is fiscal ai but it’s more $ by like 2x
Anyone use it ? Maybe I can get by with seeking alpha. Just shows forecasted eps and revenue growth. No details. Tikr can chart out the fundamentals over time.
Thanks
Hey guys --
I'm sure some of you have already heard (or use) TIKR.com. They recently launched their global equity screening tool and it is fantastic.
One of my favorite things about the screener is that it scans every global market, which is something you don't find in a lot of online screeners.
What is everyone's favorite screen to run? One of my favorites is looking for high growth stocks that are trading at a reasonable valuation (GARP).
I like businesses that have grown revenues at a 5%+ CAGR, FCF at a 10% CAGR, and trade at less than 30x NTM P/E.
Currently that screen yields 690 results in TIKR.
Interested to hear feedback from y'all!
I have been using TIKR in the past, but now that they are no longer free i was wondering if there are alternatives with a complete global market like TIKR.
I have used macrotrends before that, but they are not complete and not all companies are captured, unlike TIKR.
So is there an alternative on the same level as TIKR which is free? Or are they the only "good" option for private retail investors?
Thank you in advance guys :)
I'd like to open up the topic of which platforms users of this subreddit use to analyze and study companies, and why.
I personally use TIKR and pay for the Plus plan.
I'm reading your comments.
hey! just want to see what people use to gather their investment related info, and see if i can benefit from some new info source that i'm not aware of.
feel free to mention something that someone has already mentioned, just to gauge interests. thanks! :)
Do you pay for any software if yes why?
For example portfolio management, stock filter software
Hi all,
Checking in to see who else is on the asset screener TIKR Terminal? They've currently got a promo on at 50% off for life for being an early supporter.
For those of us who are current users, what are your thoughts on staying a freemium user as opposed to the Pro ugprade?
Hi 👋
What paid tools/serivces do you use? I mean, paid membership on Morning Star/Seeking Alpha/etc.
And what functionality from there?
I always see people making a big deal about this app. But I don't get it.
To me, it just seems like a lot of data patched together. Am I wrong?
I'm happy with TIKR, it's really handy, but sometimes I envy the extra info and sleekness of Seeking Alpha. What is your experience?
I have been getting into investing for the last couple of months and am interested in know which sites do you guys use, free or paid. I will start with mine
Tikr - I think this is the best site that I use, it has transcripts, financial historical data, balance sheets, estimates and a whole lot of other stuff.
Yahoo finance - I use this mainly for news and getting ideas about stocks to look into.
Simply Wall Street - This site presents the data in a really easy to digest way, but I found the screener to not be so good.
QuickFS - A pretty basic site that shows a lot of financial data, cash flow statements and the like for the past 10 years.
Zacks - At first I looked at this one a lot because of the Zacks rank, which is supposed to help give a quick overview about the company, but in my opinion it doesnt make sense a lot of the time.
