Can you leave leftover cleaning water in tank? You probably COULD, but I don’t. I empty everything at the end of the day. You especially don’t want to leave the dirty water tank overnight. It smells so bad, and the odor seems to linger in the plastic of the tank, even after multiple cleanings/rinsing. Cleaning the roller and dirty water tank. Yes , I usually clean the roller at the end of the day. Or, if say Im mopping all my bathrooms, I will do it after Im done w those rooms…before mopping other rooms.
