ok so lately I've been trying to sell my hacked switch but before i sell it, i saw a video on youtube that says i can make a free shop on tinfoil on the new switch update "18.1" so i tried to update it and hopefully i updated it successfully, but when i installed tinfoil and start it, it's give me a error "unable to start software" and i have the newest sigpatches and the last update of hekate and atmosphere this happened in tinfoil 18.0 should i wait for tinfoil 18.1 or there is a solution PLZ HELP I HAVE TO SELL IT.
Accidentally updated switch to 19.0.0. I did a clean install, added atmosphere 1.8.0, sigpatches, and did the tinfoil self installer, but it wont start. I also tried the AIO from sigpatches, but also no luck. I also tried downgrading to 18.1 firmware, still nothing. Could not start software. Anyone have the same problem?

Well, I updated my switch v1 unpatched to the latest firmware. Atmosphere, Hekate and sigpatches are up to date. I'm trying to install Tinfoil 18 with the .nro version and it installs. The thing is, it doesn't launch. It says error. When I look to the Tinfoil version it's 17 and not 18. Is it normal, is there a fix? Thanks for your help
Cannot for the life of me figure out why tinfoil refuses to boot. I've tried deleting and redownloading the folder and using different releases of the same version of tinfoil but nothing will get it to work.
Anyone else experiencing issues with tinfoil after updating to 18.0.0? I recently updated using rentry guide and my games work fine. The problem is tinfoil no longer works, I even tried downloading the most recent tinfoil self installer.
i started modding my switch today and i installed tinfoil on my switch but when i try to start it it says “unable to start the software” i’m going crazy please someone help me
Couldn't get a new game to work so decided to update. Updates everything, including SIG and sys patches. But now tinfoil doesn't want to start. Dropped in the new tinfoil files (version 18) yet when I check it on the home screen it says ver 17.0 at the top. Tried deleting and rebooting from tegra rcm and same issue. Any ideas what could be causing this ? I'm on version 19.0 and AMS 1.8.0

Atmosphere does not support the most recent firmware (v19). If you have updated your FW, all you can do now is wait until a new version of Atmosphere is released to support it.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to get tinfoil to work on my switch with atmosphere. I extracted the fusee.zip from this link for my sig patches to the base of my SD card, and I used the self installer from tinfoils website. When I try to install the app, I get told "Could not start the software" along with nothing else. If I exit airplane mode then try to start the software, I get error code 2155-8007. I have blocked all communication to nintendos servers on my emuMMC. I don't know where to go from here. I'm content with using gold leaf to install NSPs, but the only website I have found so far uses bittorrent, and I'm not too big on the idea of that as I don't want to spend money on a VPN when I can just get tinfoil to work. Lastly, I originally tried installing tinfoil on 13.0, but have since upgraded my switch and emuMMC to 13.2. Any help would be appreciated :)
