This is my setup I can’t identify the reason why it would not melt iron any advice would be helpful.

You can't have 2 different metals inside of a melter at the same time. So you have to empty the tin out before trying to put the iron in.

is it not hot enough to melt the iron? you might need one of the lava melter ones under it instead of the furnace
Why isn't my iron amber turning to molten iron? I'm using the porcelain smelting set up with lava as fuel. Aug 14, 2022

Just started the pack & I finally got around to making my pretty white porcelain Smeltery, buuuut I can't?
The quest actually says "Making the Tinkers' Complement early game smeltery will also complete the quest"
I just made a normal smeltery for now. but is there anyway to enable the porcelain one? I checked the configs, but I didn't see anything.

Step 1: Make Grout from Clay, sand and gravel Step 2: Put Grout into furnace to make seared bricks, combine seared bricks into smeltery blocks. (i.e. Smeltery Controller, Seared Faucet, etc.) Step 3: Construct Smeltery ( video. ) For a Porcelain Smeltery just follow this -> video. Just search this stuff up on youtube lol.

So I started a new world, just got to tin. Made a melter so I could make tin sapling (No tinker's smeltery because prestige, so I'm using the tinker's complement melter) and it worked for one go but now I can't open them. Right-clicking no longer does anything. I've tried picking it up and replacing it, crafting new ones, quitting the game and coming back in... nothing works. Anyone encountered this, or have ideas for how I can fix it?
EDIT: I fixed it. I'm not sure how, but it might have been reinstalling the Tinker's Construct jar to the mod profile? That doesn't make sense to me because I had this issue with a brand new profile but here we are.
