Pants for skinny toddler
Pants for tall skinny 2 year old boy?
kiddo is a 4T/nearly 5T length but more of a 3T/almost 2T waist. we’ve had some luck with pants that have adjustable waists and also sweatpants from cat & jack. i’m not a huge fan of the adjustable waists because they pucker.
any suggestions for slim fit pants that won’t break the bank? he needs some dress pants and khakis.
My 2.5 year son is skinny. 60th percentile for height and 5th percentile for weight. I am having trouble finding pants that stay up! We have a lot of Carter's brand pants with drawstrings. Even those are falling down. Today at the park he was running around holding his pants up with one hand because the drawstring was not holding them up. I felt so badly for him and also embarrassed.
Any ideas for toddler boy pants that run slim? In pull on styles? Trying to avoid snaps, buttons, zippers, etc. because he is potty training. Which is definitely a work in progress, but that is another story.
Edit to add: Thank you all for the responses! Such great suggestions and ideas! How have I been a parent for 2+ years and never knew about the existence of toddler pants with adjustable elastics inside? Looking forward to trying the brands many have mentioned. And suspenders!
I have a very tall 2 year old but his waist has slimmed down. He needs longer pants. If I put him in the shorter pants that fit his waist he looks like a little lad who loves berries and cream lol I heard that Target pants have a button on the waist but I’ve not seen that on any of his 2T or 18m pants from there? Nothing on Carters waistbands either. Maybe I’m not looking in the right place? Drawstrings are useless. The only pants that seem to fit him are Wranglers from TJ Maxx but I had bought a second pair recently that is too big so i guess it was just that one pair of Wranglers that fit. I don’t like that his diaper is out for all to see all the time.
