Trace the outside of your childs foot. Then take it with you to the store. Once you find shoes that fit, just buy the next 2-3 sizes to have on hand in case the design is discontinued. Then at least youre guaranteed shoes that fit for a bit. More on reddit.com

My 2.5 year olds are in a US 6 right now, but not for too much longer. They are also in size 18 month clothes, for context. On average its every 3 months that they go up a size, but the last pair they wore for almost 5 months and this pair has been only a month but will get maybe another month out of them.
