Looks like todoist have stopped their student discount program:

As of March 2021, we’ve retired the Todoist for Education discount program. We’re optimistic about relaunching a much better version of this program in the future. This means that:

As of now, we will no longer be renewing preexisting discounts or offering this discount to new users.

If you and your team have previously been approved for the discount, you can continue to use it until its expiration date (your expiration date is one year from the date you were approved for the discount).

The information in this article will remain available for users whose discount has not expired yet.

This is quite a bummer for me. I started with grad school in February and used a referral code to get two months premium for free, just to see whether it's better than Microsoft To-Do. I found todoist much better than MS To-Do so I will keep using it.

So, for now, I will pay 4 euros per month and I really hope that Todoist comes with a student discount soon.

Be careful while trying to get this education discount because i faced today a few problems.

(EXPERIENCED) 1- It needs business account so, when you move your account from premium to business, all premium time will fly and just 30days of business plan will come.

e.g. my 3 months has gone with a one click.

(EXPERIENCED) 2- In the education page, Apply now for a 50% discount button is not working. as a guess, it could be frozen by the team of todolist because of the price updates (+%25 to give users more simple prices (!)) at the begining of the December.

(EXPERIENCED) 3- When you try to return again Premium Plan from Business to try to get old 3 premium months, they will give you just one month as a standart prosedure.

(PENDING) 4- And when the education plan will be active again or when i will be able to get education discount, i am worriying when i move to business acc. again, i will not be able to get 1 month trial too.

(PENDING) 5- If everything will not go well and then if i need to return to Premium Plan again, i am worriying that not to get one month trial gift in Premium Plan too, and it means that i may be lost all that i have in todoist while trying to get student discount. tragicomic.

EDIT: IN STEP 4 (EXPERIENCED): It happened excactly as i guessed. To apply student discount , as you know i have to change my account to Business and they are saying now that

You've had a trial Todoist Business account before. Please purchase a new subscription. You may request a refund during the first 30 days.

So i had 3 months premium but they have gone and also now i already paid first month premium of business account to apply student discount. funny again. I hope i will not have to back personal account again as i mentioned in step 5. It will be the worst scenario for me to pay again for this month again !

Any discount for Todoist or is $48 per year the cheapest even for students right now?
