Does Toll Priority deliver overnight?
Yes, Toll Priority does provide an overnight delivery option. When you choose this service, they aim to get your package to where it needs to be by the following day. But remember, the time it takes can sometimes vary. Where your package starts and where it's going can make a difference. Factors such as bad weather or customs clearances, if shipped internationally, can also affect it. So, while they aim for next-day delivery, there might be times when it takes a bit longer.
What is the Toll Priority tracking number format?
The typical format for a Toll Priority tracking number is a sequence of 14 digits. This sequence helps both the sender and the receiver to access real-time information about the package's location and status. While this 14-digit format is the most common one, there are some cases where you might come across other formats.
However, regardless of the format, the primary purpose remains the same: to provide a clear and unique identifier for every shipment, ensuring transparency and trust in the delivery process.
Why is my Toll Priority tracking not updating?
If you notice that your Toll Priority tracking hasn't been updated for a while, there could be several reasons. One common reason is that the package might be in transit, but the tracking system hasn't received a recent update. Sometimes, the package might be at a location where updates aren't immediately available. It's a good idea to give it a day, as tracking systems often refresh within 24 to 48 hours.
If you still don't see any changes after this period, reaching out to Toll Priority's customer service can be helpful. They can provide more insights and help you understand the current status of your shipment.
Yesterday I expected my parcel to be delivered as the status changed to "Out for delivery" at 7:28am in the morning. I stayed home expecting the parcel, yet when it went past 5pm, it was evident that they ran out of time and I presumed would deliver the next day. Except based on the tracking it is not. The status went back to "In transit" at 8:32pm in Botany last night and this morning it has not changed to the "Out for delivery" status. Why would they not deliver it the next day if they ran out of time yesterday? The fact that the status hasn't changed to "Out for delivery" makes me wonder, when am I going to get my parcel? Evidently not on the weekends, but even then, will they attempt to deliver Monday or Tuesday if they couldn't even be bothered to attempt to deliver the day after they ran out of time?
/end rant
Pretty much every toll parcel that requires a signature gets that delivered to me, never gets delivered within the time period and I end up having to get the parcel re-delivered to my office.
Their residential delivery service is pretty shit compared to Aus Post which has a lot more flexibility in it.
Toll are garbage, especially the Toll Priority arm of the company. Toll Ipec aren't quite as bad in my experience, but I've found overall it's a crapshoot as to when you'll receive your parcel. It could be today, it could be next week. I had one parcel that took them 3 weeks to deliver, turned out they had it sitting on the dash of the truck and forgot it was there?!
I've got a friend that works in a warehouse and the stories he tells about Toll's shitty shenanigans are endless (although to be fair he has them about pretty much every courier company they work with).
Basically, you'll probably get it at some point in the future. Hopefully today. Ring them and chase it up though.
