Has anyone… ANYBODY… read any of his books? “Grandfather”, “the Tracker”, “The Search”, if you are an outdoors person, had adventures as a kid, had a best friend as a child but then they moved away, if you like the “me-against-the-world-didn’t -ask for this!” genre, tales of “I-wouldn’t have survived that…”, stories of misguided cryptid sightings, near death experiences, our relationship with the Earth and life lessons, this book could be the source inspiration for so many movies, but one thing is for sure it is genuine, very descriptive, 230-pages, and SO RELATABLE TO ANYONE, especially in life lessons and elder contributions, if I knew where or how to start, I would campaign that this be made into a series or movie because it is as incredible but true in regards to the fascination we have with movies like Forrest Gump, with under-sung-underdog characters, yet it is a real person that learned lessons we all need and who’s contributions to understanding indigenous teachings, as a naturalist hero, survivalist luminary, and original experiences have a fulfilling effect on the reader, this book starts out technical in nature in relation to following nature’s signs but as the memories and relayed experiences are told, it does have something for EVERYONE who has struggled, been ridiculed, and experienced true, life-enriching triumph. I hope at least one person who reads this finds what EVERY SINGLE person I have introduced these books to, with great admiration for its content, and have said “THANK YOU” and that it is “life-changing”.
