In many of these lists where people talk about VS Code extensions it feels like the tools are either gimmicky/ doesn't fit into daily work, or are paid services.
So I wonder if you guys have any tools that you enjoy in your daily work?
I can start and share Color Highlight which highlights colors in your documents, with their color. It's just simple and neat.

There isn't a tools menu in VS code.
A screenshot from the official VS Code site.:

You can check this by searching for Visual Studio Code in Google images. All of the screenshots show there is no tools menu.
You might be confused between Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code, which are two entirely different softwares. Visual Studio has a 'Tools' option in it's tool bar where as Visual Studio Code does not have a Tools option.
If some other noob like me shows up looking for a "Tool" dropdown menu you should stop looking : it does not exist in Visual Studio Code but it does in Visual Studio... not the same software, almost same name.
You can reset your settings in "File" -> "Preferences" -> "Settings" -> Top right corner: 3 dots, click on them -> "Show modified settings" -> "User settings"/"Workspace settings" -> Click on the gear right to the feature-tree and select "Reset Setting".
Are you missing something else ?
