I could obsess over the order, so maybe a bulleted list is best. But I've rewatched all of these, which does the test of time. The Thing 1982 The Descent Alien Insidious Skeleton Key Midsommar The Ring Dawn of the Dead 1978 The Fly 1986 Scream 1996 I'd easily add Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass, but they are tv series. Cabin in the woods narrowly missed the list. But it's fascinating how half of this are remakes or self aware (Scream, Cabin in the woods). Or even inspired by (Midsommar inspired by Wicker Man).
