I came across this list by way of a movie podcast I listen to (Movie Crush) and thought some of you might appreciate it. They had the author on and dedicated an entire podcast episode to talking about the list.
I'm a movie lover that has seen about 2500 movies, including all of both of the AFI top 100's, the IMDB top 250 from 6 different years, every Best Picture Winner, etc (I'm open to suggestions for other lists I should strive for.)
So on one hand I feel like I've seen everything good that there is to see, but on the other hand I know there is so much more good stuff out there, I just don't know how to find it.
That's why I really appreciated this list. While there are some movies on there that I've already seen and really didn't like - I was able to find 17 that I both hadn't seen and sounded like I would like.

Even with all of those lists combined, you're ignoring like 95% of international cinema. It's not hard anymore to find great movies that you haven't seen or heard of before. There are endless resources. http://www.theyshootpictures.com/gf1000_100-1.htm There's a good starting point. Letterboxd lists are invaluable, as well.
