I have loved many different styles and brands. I remember the intense rush and excitement when acquiring a new piece. But now, years later they don't spark the same level of joy and excitement. So I think you should buy what you love and will use in the moment, but trends/style change and in the end, none of them are worth their price tag or are truly special. The most expensive, but best quality is probably vintage Chanel, but you’ll have a hard time finding a good vendor. There are many good dupes, so it’s almost not worth the price. Salvatore Ferragamo and Bottega Venetta are the best quality leather designer bags out there. Coach, Polene and Strathberry (both very in style) are more affordable options, but equal in quality to the above. Polene and Strathberry are considered new luxe, but very well known.
