Biggest TIP: You are the one with the money they want, do not be intimidated. You are literally the one who is making their profits better. Some other tips for walk ins, they usually stand at the entrance to greet and someone will get to you and ask you what u r looking for. If you ar enot sure, say lets start with hangbags / or wallets / something casual / or something dressy etc. for walk ins, sometimes they are booked (usually weekend evenings) so they ask you to wait patiently at the entrance. Do you have any recommendations for which department store has the best items for luxury and customer service? I just had an awful experience with Saks Fifth Avenue, where I ordered a YSL wallet and they sent me one that's not even listed on their site. They don't process 'exchanges', so I have to return the item and then repurchase it, which is ridiculous. They were barely apologetic for their mistake. I don't want to repurchase anything with them out of pettiness.

I would say Bergdorfs or Niemans for in person. I will say that Bergdorfs was incredibly slow to process my online return that they ultimately rejected. I don’t object to the rejection, but it took them a month to process it.
