I love the idea of buying British and trying to where I can but the truth is the high street is filled with fast fashion built in sweatshops.
It can take a lot of time and research to find good British brands as there are just so few to choose from, so I thought it would be good to put a discussion together for people to talk about any British brands they've used (Ideally made in the UK, but I know that's rare) to build our awareness.

Peregrine Clothing , the majority of their clothing is made in Manchester with some designs using British wool. They also sell wax jackets and some other funky bits. You mentioned footwear so I’ll also say Tricker’s . The absolute gold standard of British footwear imo, they also have a factory shop where you can get nice deals.

I start with only one clothing piece that I actually had time to test properly, which is underwear. My favourite brand of underwear is Obviously. Fabric is soft and durable, has a great pouch for your junk and it seems to last years. I have a pair that I purchased over 2 years ago and it still looks good despite being washed after each use.
I'm just tired of clothing that seems to disintegrate after 2-3 months of normal use, especially shoes!
Edit: There's a lot of responses, so I might create a spreadsheet over the weekend and compile your answers there and link it to this post.

Most of the clothes I buy these days are from: Folk, Cos, Carhartt WIP, Uniqlo, Nudie Jeans, Norse Projects. In my head these are sort of 'cool but understated'. Whether I actually pull that off, who knows haha. But they are good quality and last a long time. (Uniqlo is cheaper and might not last as long but is good for basics)
