How Do You Track Your Deliveries?
I'd sign up for both UPS My Choice and Fedex Delivery Manager ... both are free services that track shipments to you based on your address as soon as the shipper initiates the shipment (no having to give access to scrape your email account or manually add tracking numbers to a website). Both services will also allow you to specify delivery instructions (tho I have found those instructions being listened to is highly driver dependent ... especially for Fedex Ground). It also integrates with their smartphone apps to get all your deliveries there as well. UPS will do some paid upgrade options on delivery and allow you to redirect some shipments to other locations (not all shipments are eligible). None of this helps with the shipments that use Amazon for delivery (which is about 95% or more of my deliveries now) ... but I do like having both those services working automatically for me. All you need to do is copy and paste the TBA tracking number that is in your account, the actual number itself, and then have your friend go to the following website: https://track.amazon.com and paste the tracking number. The tracking number will start in TBA and you can put it into the website mentioned even if you are not using the same Amazon account that you purchased the item with. More on reddit.com

I'm kind of OCD and like to track my deliveries - both Vine and non-Vine. For example, I use USPS Informed Delivery to be notified of what's coming in the mail each day. I also use Parcel, but the free version is limited to tracking 3 deliveries at a time.
I had a couple deliveries ship via FedEx and saw that FedEx has a service called Shop & Track. I was wondering if any Viners have used it and what your opinions on it are.

I just look at the orders page. If it's something small, I know it's going in the box. If it's going to be a larger package, I know a separate delivery may bring it to the door.

Unfortunately they are not able to track the TBA tracking number because it's associated with my Prime account and not theirs.
Is there a way to share the tracking info so they can go about their day and rush home when it's actually out for delivery?

If you're on the app, and you're in the orders section and looking at your particular shipment, there's a button that says SHARE TRACKING and it gives you a link you can click and it will display the movement of the package there. Sadly, this button isn't on the web version of Amazon

Hello - I'm expecting a delivery today and they're requiring me to give a driver a password. Well the delivery window is TWELVE HOURS long so guess I'm stuck at home all day. Cool.
Well my question is about the map that is shown when tracking a package. It says "out for delivery", however I see nothing on the map except my house. Is this supposed to tell me where the truck is or something? Right now it's just a blank map.
Can someone explain whats going on please? Thanks

the app is geofenced - so when the courier is close to your area, you will start to see the courier appear on the map. for me i usually see it when the courier is 10 stops from me. even if you see the courier on the map, it can still take a couple more hours, depending on the route and how many packages per stop the courier has before you. i think in the app you can instruct the courier to leave it with someone else and give them the code if you cant stick around for the delivery.
