I understand you want to migrate a google domain to Microsoft. Please follow the steps below to add a new domain to Microsoft 365:
- Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
- In the Microsoft 365 admin center, in the left nav, select Show all > Settings > Domains.
- Choose Add domain, enter your domain name then select Use this domain.
- Choose, Add a TXT record to the domains DNS records, select Continue, and copy the TXT value.
- Go back to the Google Admin Console, choose Domains, Manage domains, View Details, Manage domain, DNS, and then scroll down to Custom resource records.
- Open the record type drop-down, choose TXT, paste the TXT value you copied then select Add.
The update usually takes a fact within a few minutes but may take up to 48 hours.
- Return to the admin center, select Verify, and then Close.
- To set your domain as the primary email for your users, in the left nav, select Users > Active users.
- Choose a user, select Manage username and email, Edit, select your domain from the dropdown, then select Done and Save changes.
- Repeat this process for each user.
When you're finished, you'll be ready to install Office apps and migrate your email and calendar items to Microsoft 365.

Hello ChrisR_2112,
Thanks for your post here,
From your description, I understand that you would like to migrate G Suite mailboxes to Microsoft 365 and to move domain to Microsoft 365. Given this situation, Microsoft has provided an article with detailed steps to us. For your reference: Migrate consumer G Suite mailboxes to Microsoft 365 or Office 365. Therefore, you can follow the steps in this reference to complete your work.
Note: The migration won't migrate calendar and contact information, so please let the uses import them manually and they can refer to this article: Migrate email and contacts to Microsoft 365. Besides, all account owners must create an app password to access their account. This is because Google considers Outlook to be a less secure app and will not allow a connection to it with a password alone.
If you need more help, please feel free to let me know and I will try my best to help you.
Regards,
Seven
