Hi there!
Currently we have (fake) Mysite.com at Google Domains, with default nameservers and we use Workspace for emails. We use Duda to host our site. DNS is controlled here too.
The company has entertained moving everything to GoDaddy. Would Mysite.com go down temporarily if switched to GoDaddy? Can someone ELI5 this, if they could?
One thing also to note, is, we have a BUNCH of MX and A records (not sure what they are for).

I am trying to help a friend that wants to move emails and domain from Godaddy to Workspace.
He wants to use the Business Starter package.
He has about 10 users that have working emails from Godaddy using Outlook as client.
What's the best way to migrate the emails to Workspace and will there be any down time for the users?
I understand the domain transfer is done during sign-up to Workspace (?)
Is there a tutorial that I can follow?
Please let me know if there are any pitfalls that I need to watch for. Thanks

If you're not confident in doing this yourself then hire a professional or get a hold of a partner in your region. There should be no downtime if this is done properly and the transition will be seamless. Using Outlook is already a red flag, if they want to continue using Outlook once they are already on Google Workspace then they are better off going with O365 as their email platform.

Change your DNS MX records to point to Google. Down time maybe 24 hours to fully propagate. Use Google Outlook Sync and import existing outlook profile.
