What ACTUALLY can survive in full sun?
Wild coffee is not for full sun. Firebush will do fine but you have to plant when it’s cooler, anything will scorch if you try planting in summer. Depending on where you’re located our planting season is sept-March. I have multiple firebushes, cocoplum, beautyberry, myrtle, Simpson’s stopper, wild lantana, wild plumbago and wild lime in full sun. Note that natives in FL don’t grow much for first couple of years, they might even die back and you’ll see regrowth in March. Edited to add I also have Bahama cassia in full sun. More on reddit.com
