I can't deal with pods, they kill after a few minutes (maybe I've just got weird ears). We both use Blue Parrot headsets in our truck. Can't beat em for noise cancellation, people often don't realize we're in the truck.

Hello! I am looking for a solution for my father to take calls on the road. He has always had a bad habit of speaking on the phone while driving, so I am looking for a safer option (and a option where his voice can be heard well in loud environments).
I am not a trucker nor is he (although from time to time he does operate heavy machinery like a "tree harvester" or whatever it is called in english). I just couldn't imagine a better place to ask about this stuff than here!
"As an owner of wireless headphones I know how bad the microphone can be even on expensive devices. To my understanding this is due to the bandwidth of the bluetooth standard simply not being enough for two way high quality audio (and BT headphone manufacturers seem to prioritize for listening, not recording)?

Everyone else wrote paragraphs but I'll keep in short. Blue parrot bt450. Cheapish, I'm going on 5 years on the first one. Consumer grade Bluetooth is meant for cars, offices, and houses and the noise canceling is not robust enough in a semi.
