I was recently speaking with someone about the Cheesecake Factory at Fashion Valley, and it reminded me of a restaurant that my mom, sister, and I used to love that was right across from where the CF is now (I think the restaurant there now is True Food Kitchen). Anyway, we absolutely loved this particular restaurant, and was sad that the CF was going to be across from it (it hadn't been constructed yet) because we knew that it was a major restaurant (neither one of us had been there before) that was going to put our favorite restaurant out of business, which it eventually did.

Does anyone happen to remember the name of this restaurant? It was a long time ago (maybe around 15-20 years ago or so). They served similar food as CF, but on a much smaller scale.
