What are the key features of Sennheiser Sport true wireless earbuds?
What is the fatal flaw of the Sennheiser Sport true wireless earbuds?
Who should buy the Sennheiser Sport True Wireless?
Anyone looking for workout earbuds should consider the Sennheiser Sport True Wireless. With many ear tips and wings, the earbuds stay locked in during any fitness routine. These buds are also suitable for joggers who like to be aware of their surroundings.
Edit and TLDR: I almost stopped using sennheiser earbuds, to often do i have connection issues just got tired of it. the sound for music is OK, but in my opinion, not worth the hassle. Received my QCY earbuds and they are very well polish for 27eur, never had any connection issues and fits very smoothly in ears, also, the case is smaller and more convenient.
Just bought Sennheiser Sport True Wireless for 110euros, because I lost one of my earpieces of Ugreen Hitune(used it for 3 years, price ~40eur with shipping from ali).
I am really disapointed with Sennheiser, bought these earpieces because I wanted solid earpieces for a gym with reliable connection and a decent sound and no corners cut, so I though, why not whese one, which dont have ANC(which means less corners cut) but still are well priced and reviews said it has a great sound. Now to the expierence:
The Good:
Sound is OK, I am not an expert, but its good enough for me.
It stays secured in your ears with the flaps what are supplied.
I like LED indication lights
It works well then it works.
The Bad:
It updates its firmware for too long. How can a bluetooth and CPU/MCU technology of this day take so long to update, about 10 -20mins and I had to retry 2 times since something went wrong, probably because I held the case open, which means update FW has bugs, since this should not matter. Anyway, update size is 1Mb/(10min*60sec) = download speed 150bytes/s. I am a professional electronics engineer/embedded programmer and I know this is not right. Its probably really badly programmed or they have so much hardware limitations(cost saving) that they have to go this slow. Even budget earpieces update faster.
I had this only for a few days and I already had to pair/unpair a few times from my phone and PC, since one of the pieces would just not play sound. Sometimes pair/unpair was not necessary if I hold it in case for a longer period of time.
This is a personal preference, I am a male of 180cm height and these are too bulky to have in my ears for too long, it gets painful after a few hours. Maybe I have to get used to it.
I will be using them for now, maybe it will grow on me. Will updated the post in a future if I find anything useful.
Any recommendations for sports Earbuds without ANC?
My requirement:
No ANC feature at all (not even if it has the option to turn off ANC).
A wingtip. But preferably not ear hook as I wear glasses
True wireless
Not open ear headphone
Better sound quality and a more secure fit than Jaybird Run (which is what I'm using now)
Budget-wise, I'm flexible.
The Jaybird Vista and Sennheiser sport true wireless seem to meet my requirement, any other recommendations?
And which one would you suggest more?
I've been reading reviews about hifi bluetooth earbuds (Sennheiser Momentum, Bang and Olufson E8, etc). The options are fairly limited and they all seem to have some significant flaws. I know this segment is still in its infancy and hopefully the quirks will get worked out.
just wondering what your guy's thoughts are about wireless earbuds!
I use both headphones and IEM/earbuds depending on what I'm doing. I'm asking mainly for earbuds since I don't like wearing headphones when I'm out and about because I don't like the weight on my head when I'm moving around (that and it leaves a horizontal dent in your hair).
Current Set-up:
Headphones: DAC/AMP: Grace Design+Massdrop m9xx | headphones: Sennheiser HD700 and Fostex+Massdrop TH-X00 Purpleheart
IEM (currently out of order): DAC/AMP: Creative Sound Blaster E5 | CIEM: Ultimate Ears UE5 - destroyed by my roomba last week ;(
Earbuds (gym): Jabra Elite 65t
I have started to go to the gym frequently so I want some good earbuds. I really trust this brand because I have Sennheiser Game One and Sennheiser Momentum 4, and I know I can trust Sennheiser's sound and material quality. What I want to know is if the ANC is good enough to go to the gym and if the sweat won't be too annoying. Sorry for my english, I'm mexican.
