Truist Bank is Pathetic
So wild. I’ve had truist since their inception and have tons of friends around that do as well and no one have these issues that people on this small sub seem to have. I had chase and I’ll take truist literally 24/7 over them. They disable it when they think it’s fraud. And anytime I’ve called truist customer service to order a new card or anything, even on weekends, I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes which is understandable. There are a million competitors and I’m all for people switching to get the best service, rate, etc. Thats what makes competition great. But chime and cashapp, not even real banks with zero customer service/rules/insurance, come on dude. More on reddit.com

October 14, 2024Anyone get a call from this number?
I opened a credit card with Truist. Then I get this letter in the mail saying my card was on hold and I needed to provide additional information. When I call I get this BS thing how I have won a 100 dollars something or other. I knew immediately this was not real. What bank on earth would try to trick a new customer with a number that is not direct. I decide to play it a bit further to see what happens. No matter what option you press, you get the same woman who is so pushy you almost can't understand what she is saying. I can't for the life of me figure out how this letter got to me. Appears 100% legit and even has the four digits of my new card. Anyway, I told this lady I did not call HER. She told me she would give me the correct number for who I was trying to reach AFTER I messed around with her. Lol... Yeah, click. More on reddit.com
