MAGA Reacts After Donald Trump Warns States Over Israel Boycotts - Newsweek
August 5, 2025 - An updated document posted after Reuters and Newsweek reported on the notices showed that language about boycotting Israeli companies had been removed. The FEMA notices posted Friday related to at least $1.9 billion in federal grants that states depend on for search‑and‑rescue gear, emergency management salaries, backup power systems and other essentials, according to Reuters' reporting and Newsweek's review. They marked the Trump administration's latest move to leverage federal funding to advance its stance on Israel but also sparked sharp scrutiny from many Trump supporters.

What I Learned Discussing Israel with Tucker Carlson, Steve Bannon and Marjorie Taylor Greene - POLITICO
December 8, 2025 - In fact, it’s the work of a specific group of conservative critics of Israel who have maneuvered — sometimes in unison and sometimes on their own — to push the debate to the center of the MAGA conversation. In their own telling, they are motivated by a desire to resolve a glaring contradiction between Trump’s “America First” philosophy and the U.S.’s ongoing support for Israel.

Do you feel this is justified? Even if you disagree, can you see why many people across the political spectrum consider Trump to be a fascist because of policies like this?
Edit: Turns out Trump reversed course just now.

No states were actively boycotting Israel. Meaning if this policy was enacted, it would've had virtually no impact. It was largely a symbolic gesture. Which still was a bad look which is why they rolled it back
