How to completely disable all popups, even ones created by user interaction like clicking a page?
It's generally bad practice to subvert the expected browser behaviors, but I'm not aware if there is even a way to do it aside from the preventDefault() javascript method for click events, adding your own click event, then hoping their blockers don't stop those . There's also the standard target=self link attribute, but I'm not sure I understand the forced browser behaviors you're describing and it probably won't meet the end you seek. More on reddit.com
