I need to make extra money and I know E-commerce is not always easy. When searching I’ve seen several turnkey companies offering service to build a webpage and post products on Amazon. Some charge to have a website built some don’t and some charge a monthly fee. All turnkey builds have there pick us claims.
Is it still worth selling on Amazon since there changes to the e-commerce business? I think they charge more or something.
Are turnkey website builders worth investing in? What do you look for when it comes to trusting one and how do you know if they are professionals?
I don’t have the skill set to build a webpage or time to find reliable companies to order products from et, which is why I’m looking at turnkey website builders. I have looked on shopify but many website builders want a lot of money which seems absurd.
Anything else I should know before considering becoming an Amazon product seller?…if that is the proper term to use..

I don't sell on Amazon, but have over 13 years expereince designing websites for clients. There are numerous platforms to choose from: wix, webs, Shopify, Wordpress/Woocommerce, etc. My preference after using all of these is WordPress/Woocommerce. Why, because it has the most features of any other platform out there. Features or plugins to add to the sites design, functionality, marketing, etc. I would also suggest NOT to hire someone from Fiverr to design the site, if you decide to go that route. Sure WP is a bit harder to learn, but that is my preference. Some platforms charge around $35 per month for an ecomm site, while I am paying $1 per month (1st yr, after that $9 per month). But, the costs may increase with WP, if you decide to purchase a theme related to what you want to sell. I would not put all my eggs in one basket - Amazon, since they have a ton of do's & don'ts. With your own website, you have more flexability and more options.

“Many website builders want a lot of money which seems absurd”. You just admitted you can’t do it on your own, so I guess that means it’s pretty valuable to you, no? I charge between $3700 and 10k depending on exactly what’s needed. Plenty of people pay it. And they will leave with some combination of a functional, conversion optimized, aesthetically pleasing website with impeccable imagery and strong sales copy. I barely know anyone who can do all of those things by themselves. anything under 2500 is not going to get you a site that has ALL of what you need and that’s genuinely a fact. A lot of people will start out with cheap fiverr site and that’s fine, but if they’re even a little bit successful, they quickly grow out of what they have, and if they aren’t successful, a lot of times their crappy website is the reason for it.

I'm actually a part of 2 eCommerce groups selling anything from amazon automation to Facebook automation stores. Simply put, Imagine you are the owner of a Mcdonald's Franchise and you have all the knowledge, skills, hires, network to scale and expand your income by opening multiple.... However, the laws of your country only allow one McDonalds Franchise per person. Naturally, you would open another Mcdonald's under your mom, significant other, friend's name and take a profit split... This would then continue until you make a business selling your "McDonald Automation" to individuals. Never get an automated amazon store for 30k... its a scam They run around 15k for a 60/40 profit split, on average (if the firm you are working with is good) anywhere between 5-8 month ROI.
