What are your Costco recommendations for TV’s under 55 inches? I don’t really have a budget, because they’re all not that expensive! I have been very happy with Samsung TV’s in the past. My family/friends and I have been really happy with the LG C line. I believe costco has both the C3 and C4 available in a 48”. We all prefer them over Samsung.

Sony: A80K, A80L, X90L, X90K Samsung: S95B, S95C, QN90B, QN95C LG: C2, C3, B2 It all depends on your budget, room condition (any direct glare or sunlight on screen or not), usage(upscaling, sports important or not) etc. Sony A80 models, LG, are WOLED and Samsung models (at 55") are QD-OLED. QD-OLED is brighter, and has better color volume. Samsung lacks Dolby Vision though. Between Sony and LG, Sony is overall better for movies and sports, while LG is better for hardcore gamers. This time of the year, you may not find all these models as they are a mix of 2022 and 2023 models. Availability of 2022 models depends on where you live. Rtings and HDTVTEST are two good review sites/channels. For rtings, go through the whole review and ignore the scores.

I watched DigitalTrends last night, and looking at last year's TV brand might be a good idea. But what about looking for 2023 TVs from TCL, Sony, Samsung, etc? My Vizio is about 10 years old, so something from 2023 would be a huge step up. Would TVs from 2023 or even 2022 have models that match what I want? Also, In thinking about it, I guess I am looking for:

At that price point every tv is going to be about the same - just ok and nothing to write home about. RTings and SlickDeals is the right combo to find the best deal on a halfway decent tv.
